BUILT TO LAST
#SPR02
Time: 7:00 pm
Type: Married Couples
Leaders: Dick & Santine de Roover
Location: The de Roovers Home
If the goal is a marriage built
to last, then maybe there are patterns from the past that we have to break. We
have to go against the hijacked version of marriage that culture throws in our
face every day. Maybe we need to have the guts to say that what we're doing
isn't working.
For where two or three come together in My name, there am I with them.

THE TRUTH PROJECT
#SPR03
Time: 6:30 pm
Type: Mixed
Leader: Thad Overturf
Location: WCC
A
DVD based small group study designed to equip believers with a comprehensive
biblical worldview. Practically and personally, participants will be
reintroduced to the truth claims about God. Each session will discuss in detail
God's design for living out the Christian worldview in daily life. Most
importantly, it addresses the need to marry our actions to our core beliefs.

REBUILDING YOUR LIFE AFTER DIVORCE
#SPR04
Time: 6:30 pm
Type: Mixed
Leaders: Paula Kurtz & Clyde Jackson
Location: The Kurtz Home
You don't have to go through it alone.
Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and
stressful experiences they've ever faced. It's a confusing time when you feel
isolated and have lots of questions about issues you've never faced before. The
care group meets weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward
rebuilding your life. Each session has two distinct elements: Expert teachers on
divorce and recovery subjects and a caring support group where you can share and
be cared for.

CHARACTER
#SPR05
Time: 6:00 AM
Type: Men
Leader: Mike Boljat
Location: WCC
What
is character? Simply defined,
character is who we are when no one else is looking.
Well, God always has an eye on us and he wants for us to be the same
person in private as we are in church, at work and elsewhere.
Together, men will learn the building blocks of character and how to
apply these to their everyday lives.
LOVE & RESPECT
#SPR06
Time: 6:00 pm
Type: Couples
Leaders: Delaun & Lor Kingsley
Location: The Kingsley Home
Love
and Respect is for couples who would like to learn how to love and respect each
other without expecting it from one another.
Ephesians 5:33 "Husbands must love their wives and wives must respect
their husbands"
Childcare is provided for a small fee.
TOO BUSY NOT TO PRAY
#SPR07
Time: 7:00 pm
Type: Women's
Leaders: Angela Capello & Melva Lloyd
Location: WCC
The
urgent need for prayer is clear, but busyness still keeps many of us from
finding time to pray. Two truths haven't changed in twenty years: God is the
same powerful, just, holy God he's always been; and true prayer--prayer that
changes us and allows us to participate in God's work in the world--can't happen
on the fly.
This women's
group
will work on deepening their prayer life
as they learn about authentic prayer.

every woman is welcome at any weekly meeting.

and grow in your relationship with God and with other women!
BIBLE STUDY, PRAISE, & WORSHIP
#SPR09

closer to God!

MENTORING MINISTRY
#SPR11

Leader: Dick de Roover
Date, Time, & Location:
Specific to each individual
This
is a new program to connect people who would like to take the next step in their
faith journey with people who can help. During the trimester, you will sit down,
one on one, with a mentor once a week, who will take you through material that
will help you answer questions, and grow your faith in Jesus Christ to a deeper
level. This program is for both men mentored by men, and women mentored by
women. A program for 'couples mentored by other couples' is available as well.
If you are still exploring Christianity and have lots of questions, this is a
good start for you as well!
Time, date, and location is specific to each individual.
Sign up on your connection card and you will be contacted for more
information and to get connected to your mentor.
Please sign up for this group as well if you are interested in being a mentor.
